“I’m the cutest miniature yorkie I know, but I sure do have a hard time keeping my mouth clean,” Chester says to himself.
Rachell takes notice following his first couple of meals there are leftovers hanging on to his lips. On inspection she discovers Chester doesn’t have a lower jaw as she wipes his mouth with a damp cloth after he eats. This becomes routine for her to clean him up around his mouth.
Chester realizes this maintenance keeps the food from hardening over time which is what he was used to in his past. He recalls how uncomfortable this felt.
“I hope she knows how grateful I am,” Chester thinks. He thanks his new companion by giving her a nose print on her cheek.

She quietly tells him, “You are so unique, Chester. We’ll get all your needs figured out little dude. Don’t worry about this. Just bear with me as I learn how to take care of your SPECIAL NEEDS!”
